San Mateo — Notes on the official 2014 California Community College Football Coaches Association state poll, as compiled by the JC Athletic Bureau.                                                             (102014)
And then there was just one: Unanimous No. 1 selection American River College is the only remaining “perfect” National (state championship) Division team after seven weeks of play. No. 3 Santa Rosa was beaten by No. 4 San Mateo, 24-21, which is now No. 2.
The next three spots are a toss-up among National Central teams. No. 3 Long Beach — which has beaten No. 4 Mt. SAC — takes a bye this week. Meanwhile Mt. SAC visits No. 5 Riverside.
