This was quite a week, maybe the best week of the season. It did shake up the top ten some, but not towards the top.
No. 1 Cardinal Newman (14-1) (Last Week 1)… ….You had to know this mulligan was coming.  Nobody else has as few as one loss, so maybe undefeated no more, but still has the No. 1 spot.
No. 2 Montgomery (8-8) (2)…The Vikings seemed to have recovered from six game losing streak.  How much will be determined this week with Windsor and Casa Grande on the schedule.
No. 3 Elsie Allen (13-5) (4)…One of the best wins in school history, which gets them right in the thick of the SCL race.
No. 4 Piner (12-6) (3) …Rebounded from a loss to Analy that started the week.  They are part of the logjam for first place in the SCL race.
No. 5 Casa Grande (10-6) (4) …Got a little revenge with a win over Windso,r who had beaten them earlier in the season. They are the last undefeated team in the NBL league race.  That will be tested this next week with Montgomery and Cardinal Newman looming.

Montgomery and Newman at the top of the rankings this week. Might things change or will the Song Remain the Same?

No. 6 Windsor (9-6) (7)…The win over Cardinal Newman turned the NBL race on its ears.  Couldn’t pull off an impressive double against Casa Grande. Continues the trip through the NBL murders row with a trip to Montgomery next.
No. 7 Analy (8-8) (8)…The momentum they had at the start of the week, which got going with a win over Piner, was halted with two losses at the end of the week.  They are still in familiar position in the SCL race.
No. 8 Willits (12-2) (10)…Responded to the loss to Cloverdale with two solid wins.  Back to the top of the NCL I race.
No.9 Cloverdale (10-4) (5)…Was fortunate to get the win they did get, with a one point victory over Lower Lake. Followed that up with an ugly loss, but still tied for first in NCL I race.
No. 10 Kelseyville (11-4) (NR)…They are part of the tie for first in the NCL I race.  They are in the middle of a streak of seven of eight games on the road.
