Things are getting interesting on the Boys side of things, aren’t they?ROSE CITY VICE AD
No. 1 Cardinal Newman (16-1) (Last Week 1)…Two more impressive wins give them three since the loss to Windsor. It is a three game week in the North Bay League.  Cardinal Newman starts that with home games vs Casa Grande and Montgomery.
No. 2 Casa Grande (10-6) (5) …Two win week, with the big one against Montgomery that gives them a nice jump.  It is a weird feeling to put them at No. 2, when they are No. 1 in the NBL race.  Has a chance to stake the claim for No. 1 when they travel to Cardinal Newman on Monday Night.
No. 3 Montgomery (9-9) (2)…A split during a tough week in which they met two teams that were either tied for, or in first place at the time.  Two league losses in the first half, one to Cardinal Newman, who they play on Wednesday.
No. 4 Elsie Allen (15-5) (3)…A five game winning streak and turning into a historic kind of year.  They are at Piner on Friday to meet the team that handed them their only league loss.
No. 5 Piner (12-6) (4) …Three game winning streak and three way tie for first in SCL race.  Has both Piner and Analy at home in the second half.
No. 6 Windsor (9-6) (6)…Went 1-2 against the NBL.  In good shape to be in the NBL post season tournament.  Needs three win week to stay in race.
No. 7 Willits (12-2) (8)…Has rebounded from loss to Cloverdale with four game winning streak, including big win over Kelseyville which was for top of NCL I race.
No. 8 Analy (9-10) (7)…Didn’t have a good week, losing two of three.  The good news is the win was the only league game.  The two out of league losses were to teams with a combined record of 27-10.
No.9 Cloverdale (12-4) (9)…Seems to have recovered from a shaky week with two wins.  Has three home games this week, two of them league games, before a trip to Willits.
No. 10 Roseland University Prep(12-6) (NR)…Went through the first half of NCLII race undefeated.  On Friday Night they host St. Vincent, who they defeated in the first game, which is the only league loss for the Mustangs.
