Not much has changed, actually most of the season the rankings, especially the top 5, have been pretty predictable.
No. 1 Cardinal Newman (11-5) (Last Week No. 1)…Dominating the North Bay League. Here comes the showdown with Santa Rosa.
No. 2 Santa Rosa (11-5) (2)…Dominating the North Bay League. Here comes the showdown with Cardinal Newman.
No. 3 Sonoma Valley (14-4) (4)…Started week with win over Petaluma to make them only undefeated team in SCL race. Equals Cardinal Newman and Santa Rosa with six game winning streak.
No. 4 Analy (10-7) (8) …A big jump for Analy after a two win week, which included an OT win over Petaluma. Since a 2-4 start, they are 8-3 including a win over Casa Grande. One of the losses was by one point to Sonoma Valley.
No. 5 Windsor (9-6) (5) …After dropping one to Cardinal Newman, won a big game against Casa Grande. Only league team to stay within twenty points of Cardinal Newman.
No. 6 Petaluma (11-6) (4)…A tough week that saw them lose close games to Sonoma Valley and Analy. The loss to Analy was in overtime.
No. 7 Casa Grande (10-6) (6)… After opening the week with a win, lost two close games to Windsor and Ukiah. They finished off the week with a win over Redwood, on Monday, that will help come playoff time.
No. 8 Middletown (10-6) (7)… A surprising loss to Kelseyville to start the week was made up for with a road win at Cloverdale, who was the last undefeated team in league race.
No. 9 Sonoma Academy (6-2) (9)…Tough league to keep track of, but appears to be the only undefeated team in NCL II race.
No. 10 Ukiah (10-7) (10)…With Cardinal Newman and Santa Rosa to start the week, they saved it with close win over Casa Grande.
