Not much of a change.
No. 1 Cardinal Newman (9-5) (Last Week No. 1)…Last week it was said here that Cardinal Newman is No. 1 until somebody local says they are not.  This week they played the first two local teams and neither was close.
No. 2 Santa Rosa (9-5) (2)…The Panthers started league play with an announcement that, yes, we are still here with two one sided wins over ranked teams.
No. 3 Sonoma Valley (11-4) (3)…A three win week.  They started the week with the biggest win, a one point win over Analy which started league play.
No. 4 Petaluma (11-4) (5)…They also had a three win week.  Now comes a big week with a trip to Sonoma Valley and a home game with Analy on the schedule.
No. 5 Windsor (8-5) (7)…Sandwich two wins in between a loss to Santa Rosa.  The last a big time rally to beat Montgomery.  Needed the win, with Cardinal Newman next.
No. 6 Casa Grande (8-4)(4) …Bounced back from back to back double figure losses with a solid win at Maria Carrillo. Three game week includes Windsor and Ukiah.
No. 7 Middletown (9-5) (9)…2-0 start to NCL I play.  Has game at Cloverdale this week.  They are the only two teams left undefeated in NCL I race.
No. 8 Analy (8-7) …After dropping tough one to Sonoma Valley had a two win week.  They have five of the next six on the road.
No. 9 Sonoma Academy (6-2) (NR)…First place tie in NCL II race at 2-0.  Upper Lake is the only other 2-0 team and they meet at Sonoma Academy on Tuesday.
No. 10 Ukiah (9-5) (6)…Barely hanging on after two double figure losses this week, with Cardinal Newman and Santa Rosa on the schedule this week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jenny Eggers, Sonoma Valley…Had a three double-double week, which gives her four for the season.  The big one was the first one which she had 18 point and ten rebounds in a 44-43 win over Analy to start league play.
MAXPREPS
This is a feature dedicated to the coaches and schools that take time to post it stats each week. We will do a couple Girls each week.
Abbey Lea, Montgomery…She is averaging 12.1 a game and has hit the 20 point mark three times.  Had a 25 point, 10 rebound game in a 55-51 loss to Analy.
Sabrina Sundstrom, Point Arena…Averaging 15.3 a game and has scored in double figures in all but two games.  She is also averaging 9.7 rebounds and has four double-doubles.
Jojo Augustine, Upper Lake…Averaging 12.3 a game and over nine rebounds a game.  She has scored double figures in all but one game and is very consistent.  Her highest scoring game is 16.  She is also averaging nearly ten rebounds a game and has had seven double-double.
