This version of the honors page is a little shorter because besides the football playoffs, not much is going on as we are between sports.
To nominate someone for the page my information is below.
Spencer Crum (Official/Parent Fan)…His post on the YSN365.com Facebook page was awesome and a thank you for posting it there. Yesterday it was moved to the YSN main page and the fans responses were just as good. If more officials would do that, people would see they are human and maybe able to take a gut wrenching call a little better.

Analy QB Jack Newman (12) has had a great season for the Tigers.

Brendan White (Petaluma)…Rushed for 203 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Rancho Cotate. That put the quarterback over 1,000 yards rushing on the season.
Jack Newman (Analy)…Another big game, actually his biggest game of the season in a season of big games. He passed for 505 yards and six touchdowns as they advanced to the NCS Division 3 semi-final round with a 38-22 win over El Cerrito. Over 400 yards and the touchdown passes were in the first half.
Andrew Floerke (Casa Grande)…Rushed for a season high 125 yards and a touchdown in season ending 47-29 loss to Miramonte. He also had a team high seven tackles and had a sack. It gives him a team high nine sacks on the year.
Josh Groesbeck (Maria Carrillo)…Rushed for 135 yards on 29 carries and a touchdown in a 26-21 loss to Concord. His touchdown gave Maria Carrillo a 21-20 lead in the third quarter. Maria Carrillo’s season ends 7-5.
Jordon Brookshire (Cardinal Newman)…Took a ball 70 yards on the first play of the game to start the 47-6 win over Justin Siena. Playing the first half, he rushed for 198 yards on 11 carries and scored another touchdown. He also threw for 52 yards and another score.
Danny Shelton/Moziah Ward (Rancho Cotate)…The two combined for 278 yards and four touchdowns in the 35-28 win over Petaluma. Both averaged over 16 yards a carry. Both have rushed for over 900 yards on the season and have combined for 27 touchdowns.
Ty Chortel (Middletown)…Rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown in the season ending loss 25-14 to St. Bernard Academy. Middletown ends a remarkable season 6-5.
Anthony Spallino (Windsor)…In a tough night he had a season high 16 tackles. It was the fifth game of the season he had double figures in tackles. Windsor season ends 7-5.

SRJC QB Mitch Hood saved his best for last throwing for close to 400 yards in the North State Bowl.

Lucas Triplett (Fort Bragg)…In a forgettable game, he had 11 catches for 99 yards. He was the main receiver of the Fort Bragg power offense and on the season caught 100 passes for over 1,400 yards and nineteen touchdowns.
Mitch Hood (SRJC)…Passed for a season high 371 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-18 win over Modesto in the North State Bowl. Hood threw six of his eight touchdown passes for the season in the last two weeks. SRJC ends the season 7-4.
Kerr Johnson (SRJC)…Caught six balls for 100 yards and a touchdown in the win over Modesto. It was the fifth game of the season he hit the 100 yard mark.
Rylee Bowen (Sonoma Academy)…The sophomore won her second consecutive NCS Division 5 Cross Country Championship. She ran the course in 17:29.7 the second fastest time in NCS Division 5 history, missing the record by seven seconds.
Golden State Warriors…Defeated the Lakers on Tuesday night 111-77 to raise its record to 16-0. They are the first team in NBA history to win sixteen straight to start the season.
