Message from the Kiwanis Club of Santa Rosa
Regrettably, the Santa Rosa Kiwanis High School ALL STAR Football Game that is typically played in July for the last 41 years, is being postponed to a date yet to be determined. Historically, the players had use of the equipment from the school holding this event. Recent concerns about player safety have resulted in changes of the school policies regarding liability for use of the equipment. So on and so forth. Your Kiwanis Club is working with the high schools to determine if a game shortly after the season might be the best time to have the game for all. the Game is a great Community Event, fun for the Player to get this recognition as an ALL STAR and a fundraiser for Kiwanis to continue the Game and help other Youth Programs that benefit the children. We are looking forward in continuing the tradition and will announce a makeup date when it has been selected. Stay tuned.
Thank you for your continued support to the Kiwanis Club of Santa Rosa.
