Sonoma County League
Analy won the outright SCL title for the regular season this year. They take on Piner tonight at Arnold Field at 7:00pm. Jack Newman and Mason Snodgrass have been the leaders on the mound for the tigers as they’ve compiled a 1.60 ERA this season. At 20-4, they’re primed for a top 2 seed in the NCS D3 playoffs.
Petaluma was 16-8 and 10-2 in league play. Both losses came to Analy. Danny Marzo and Blake Burher have been outstanding for the Trojans, they have a team 2.04 ERA. Petaluma will face Sonoma Valley Wednesday at Arnold first at 7:00pm. The Dragons have had a good season at 14-9 overall. Carson Snyder has lead the pitching staff with a 0.89 ERA in 55.1 innings pitched. This outstanding effort will be a challenge for Petaluma if he pitches tomorrow.
North Bay League
Casa Grande is 19-4 and will host Cardinal Newman on Wednesday at 4pm. Spencer Torkelson has lead the way with a .515 average for the Gauchos. Chris Joaquim has been legit on the mound posting a 1.89 ERA in 37 innings. The Gauchos are a force to be reckoned with in the NBL and NCS playoffs. For Ukiah, Joe Brazil has been lighting up hitting .449 for the Wildcats. They host Maria Carrillo Wednesday at 4pm.
NCL II
Since the NCL II doesn’t have a league tournament, their season continues. Rincon Valley Christian hosts Sonoma Academy in a battle for second place. The Eagles sit atop of the D6 rankings. The Coyotes sit at a 9 seed in D5. If SA can win, this could propel them to a home game in the NCS playoffs. St. Vincent de Paul clinched a league Championship when they beat Rincon Valley on Friday 3-2. They’re a projected 3 seed in NCS D5.
