The Local Little League season might be over.

And then it might not.

One result that hasn’t been reported as of yet is deciding whether there is any more action.

The game was Thursday’s second game in the Junior Tournament at Healdsburg.    Mark West met Benicia in the game for the section championship .  That was after Benicia defeated Mark West 7-5 in a game that started at 5 pm.  That forced a game between the two at 8 pm.

As soon as we get results we will let you know.

The other two teams it turned out to be a disappoint night.

10-11 at Mill Valley

Next year when these two teams are a year older and compete in this tournament, remember this playoff just in case Mill Valley and Petaluma National meet again.

They have started a thing.

The two teams met for the third time in the Section Championship and for the third time the game was decided in the sixth inning.  The teams had traded walk off grand slam wins to get to the title game.

Mill Valley won this game 8-7 to eliminate Petaluma National and move onto the regional.

Thanks to a five run third, Petaluma National carried a 6-1 lead into the fifth inning.  Mill Valley scored four in the fifth to get back in it and then took the lead 8-6 with a three run sixth.

Petaluma National just missed a third walk off win between these two teams.  They scored a run in the sixth and had runners at first and third when the game ended.

SENIORS at Terra Linda High School
