The streak of three straight SCL Boys Basketball championships for Analy isn’t over yet, but it is on the doorstep.
Keith Adams scored 18 points as Piner rebounded from the Friday loss to Elsie Allen with a 66-46 win over Analy. Adams was one of three Prospectors in double figures.

Analy is now two back in the loss column behind first place Elsie Allen.  Analy still has an outside chance.  Analy is at Elsie Allen on Friday Night, which is a must win.  For Analy to get at least a share of the league championship, Elsie Allen would have to lose one more game besides the one with Analy.  Piner would have to lose another one too.
One of the teams Analy could get help from is Sonoma Valley, who is actually trying to help its own cause.  The Dragons moved into a third place tie with Analy with a win over Petaluma.  Cyle Casselli collected his fifth double-double of the season with 24 points and ten rebounds.  The 24 points is a season high.
Sonoma Valley, who is 11-11 on the season, still has games at Piner and Elsie Allen.
Cody Newman scored 15 as Healdsburg defeated El Molino.
