Seniors from the NCL World and the Small School Bridge League will play in the last high school basketball game of their career when they get together for an all-star game this Saturday Night, January 21st at Rincon Valley Christian High School.
The roster includes the league MVP’s and almost all of them were named to an All-League Team.
The Boys includes John Montez of Willits, who was the NCL I MVP and averaged over 17 points a game. Willits went 25-3 on the season, which is the school’s best record of all time. Teammate Cole Jessup, who average over 10 points a game, is also on the team.
The Girl’s roster includes the NCL I MVP Amy Mora from league champion Cloverdale.
Also included are three members from the St. Vincent team that went to the Nor Cals including NCL II player of the year Jacalyn Murphy.
The Girls-Boys doubleheader starts with the Girls game at 5:45. The Boys game will follow at 7:30.
The festivities will start earlier when the teams, who were chosen by their coaches, have lunch at noon. The will be followed by a practice session. The players will be wearing their school uniforms and the games will be played in two 20 minute halves.
