Some teams had a very quiet week, other teams not so quiet.  For most teams that played several games, it wasn’t a good week.
Like baseball, the schedule takes more of a normal look this week.  A quick look at the league races, after the rankings.

Analy comes in at number 6 this week.

No. 1 (Last week No. 1) Petaluma (10-2)…Took four out of five in a tournament in Napa, which was good for a second place finish. Oh yes and also beat Analy to start SCL play.
No. 2 (2) Rancho Cotate (7-1)… When they travel to Santa Rosa on Tuesday, it will be their first game in eleven days. They will make up for that this week with a two league games and a weekend tournament in Antioch.
No. 3 (5) Ukiah (6-4)…Also had a one game week.  They have won four of five and have scored in double figures the last three games.  They are now averaging nine runs a game.
No. 4 Cloverdale (4) (7-3)…Took one out of three in the Standley Cup Tournament in the East Bay.  They met one Division 2 team, along with two from Division 3.  Back to the NCL I world this week.
No. 5 Cardinal Newman (7) (5-2)…Only game was a big win over Windsor.  Two league week begins at Montgomery on Tuesday.
No. 6 Analy (6) (6-8)…Like Petaluma, they played in the Napa tournament where they went 2-3.  Before that they began a busy week by splitting two SCL games, including the loss to Petaluma.
No. 7 Montgomery (NR) (6-5)…Has rebounded from a 0-3 start.  The last two wins were both shutouts.
No. 8 Lower Lake (9) (9-2)…A five game winning streak in which they have scored in double figures in each win.
No. 9 Healdsburg (NR) (4-4)…A two win week, including a defeating Piedmont 9-8, in a game they trailed 8-2 after five.
No. 10 Upper Lake (10) (7-2)…Hasn’t played a game since February 25th.  Welcome back to action with a home game against St. Vincent who hasn’t lost a league game since 2011.
Rancho Cotate and Maria Carrillo are both 2-0. They don’t meet until April 16th.
Windsor, who is 1-1, hosts Maria Carrillo on Tuesday and then travels to Rancho Cotate on Thursday.
Cardinal Newman, Montgomery and Ukiah are all 1-1. Cardinal Newman is at Montgomery on Tuesday and hosts Ukiah on Thursday.
Petaluma is at 1-0 and has a one game week, which is at Elsie Allen on Thursday.
Healdsburg and Piner are also 1-0.  Healdsburg travels to Analy on Tuesday.
Cloverdale and Lower Lake are the only undefeated teams left in league play.  They don’t meet until April 28th.
The league begins league play this week.  Upper Lake has a six game winning streak going into the home game against St. Vincent.
