As a couple of league championships have been decided, not a major shake up.
No. 1 Petaluma (19-3) (Last week No. 1) …They have earned another SCL championship. Their winning streak was snapped by a non-league loss to Alhambra, that didn’t cost them in these rankings, but will in the NCS Division 2 playoff seedings.
No. 2 Ukiah (18-4) (2) …The winning streak is now fourteen for the NBL champions. Despite the record, they can’t take a home game in the NCS playoffs for granted.
No. 3 Cloverdale (3) (15-4)….Junor Teanne Edens has a 1.38 ERA and has struck out 178 in 127 innings. She is also hitting .419.
No. 4 Clear Lake (4) (15-5)…Their winning streak is now 11 and in the last four games has outscored opponents 42-4.
No. 5 Sonoma Valley (5) (15-8)…A seven game winning streak puts them in second place in the SCL race. The annual senior day is against Petaluma.
No. 6 Rancho Cotate (16-6) (6)…Since a three game losing streak, they have won three straight, outscoring opponents 31-6.
No. 7 Analy (7) (13-10)…Sophomore Jade Hill is hitting .443 and has hit four of the team’s nine homers. She has also combined with fellow sophomore Emily Dreyer for 46 RBI.
No. 8 Cardinal Newman (9) (9-6)…It was a painful trip to Ukiah in which they lost in extra innings. They still have won four of five, three of the wins are shutouts by Junior Lexie Raasch.
No. 9 St. Vincent (NR) (11-9)…Got some big time revenge for the loss to Calistoga by taking an 11-1 win.
No. 10 Montgomery (10) (11-10)… A five run fifth cost them a season sweep over Rancho Cotate. Now in a battle for the final NBL post season playoff spot.
