9-10 at Alameda
Petaluma Valley had a nice run but couldn’t get by Mill Valley who eliminated them by a 9-1 score. Both of Petaluma Valley’s losses in the tournament were to Mill Valley who wins the Section.
10-11 at Mill Valley
Connor Gors hit a walk off grand slam with one out in the bottom of the sixth to cap a comeback and give Petaluma National a 7-3 win over Mill Valley. Petaluma National trailed 3-0 going into the bottom of the fifth.
The two teams will meet again tonight for the Section Championship.
The two teams are 1-1 against each other with each game having a walk-off Grand Slam.
JUNIORS AT HEALDSBURG
There was a day off in this tournament so push back the scenario posted here yesterday one dayl.
Mark West has two chances to win the section against Benicia tonight. The two teams will meet at 5 pm. If Mark West wins that game they advance to the Nor Cal Divisionalwhich is also being played at Healdsburg. If Benicia wins the two teams will play another game tonight.
In its first game of the tournament Mark West defeated Benicia 4-3.
SENIORS at Terra Linda High School
El Molino stays alive with a 9-6 win over Concord American. The two teams meet in the Section Championship Game tonight.
