The West Coast Jamboree came to end with mixed results for the local teams.
There were eleven teams in the spectacle in nine different tournaments. They had a combined record of 15-18 and won one championship.
Willits won the championship in the Pearl Bracket. The Wolverines defeated De Anza 62-34 in the championship game. They won the three games by a combined 86 points.
Willits went into the tournament with a 1-7 record.
The rest of the tournament was a mixed bag.

It was mostly a disappointing day for the local teams in the first round of the West Coast Jamboree. Eleven local teams are in the tournament and on Day One they went 4-7.
Three of the top four teams in the rankings and four of five overall, lost.

The biggest girls’ tournament on the West Coast is here again. 128 teams in sixteen different brackets are participating in the 15th Annual West Coast Jamboree, which takes place at high schools all over the East Bay. It is a three game round tournament that begins on Saturday.
